If you have read my last blog you may be well aware of what a guest post is and how benefiting it can be for your business to write one!
Extending the same thought, I would like to now give you gyaan (information) about how to write a killer (it won’t actually kill but will make you famous) guest post.
These tips will make you famous and obviously bring you traffic which you’ve been eagerly waiting for…
Write a guest blog in line with the blog audience
You are writing to a new audience, so you’ll need to write for them. Focus on the new audience, study what the blog is all about and what the audience wants. You need to have a laid-out plan in mind by considering what goes well with the audience. It doesn’t mean you have to give exactly the same thing, but yes in the same packing, so that the audience doesn’t feel alienated when they come across your guess post.
Don’t write a guest post for back linking only
A guest post should be engaging, useful, relevant and yes unique. It shouldn’t only be filled with backlinks to your website homepage. The mistake people make with back links is that they simply link it to their website homepage. Instead, add a useful back link, share a little thought in your guest blog and back link it with your own blog that has more information about it.
Give your best shot
Have a purpose when you write a guest post. Purpose gives the readers a reason to visit your blog. Brainstorm and come up with a brilliant topic to write on (a trending one would help more). Write catchy headlines, present the text in a visually pleasing manner and write the best you can.
Share the post
We come back to the importance of social media again. If you think your guest post is worth it and deserves more attention, then share it across social media. This would give you more audience and more credibility.
Each comment deserves an answer
You need to interact with your audience. For every comment that you receive you should reply. This helps build long term relationships with the readers. The comments section gives you another option to put yourself as an expert in your niche.
